About Me

Louise Sutton (1).jpg

I am currently based at Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) in the Representation Theory and Algebraic Combinatorics Unit, headed by Liron Speyer.

Beforehand, I held positions as a Heilbronn Fellow in Pure Mathematics at the University of Manchester and a Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore (NUS), part of the working group of Kai Meng Tan.

I completed my PhD at Queen Mary University of London in 2017, supervised by Matt Fayers. My thesis was on the graded representations of Khovanov–Lauda–Rouquier algebras.

My research interests lie in representation theory of symmetric groups, Iwahori–Hecke algebras and Khovanov–Lauda–Rouquier algebras.
